Do you dream of expressing yourself through music but don’t know how?

Are you into playing the piano but not so much into reading sheet music?

Did you take piano lessons when you were younger, and want to come back to it in a new way?

Connect to your inner music on piano, through improvisation, playfulness, and receptivity
in a joint musical session with four hands that allows freedom, joy, and ease.
Develop your improvisation skills, flexibility and creativity.

Open to all levels of experience!

What is it, basically?

A way to connect to your inner music through improvisation, playfulness, and receptivity, by playing together on the piano in a physical or online session.

What happens in a session?

We meet, play together on the piano while I guide you, breathe, and allow the notes to play themselves.

In what ways is it different from a regular piano lesson?

What’s the added value?

You are likely to discover that during the week, between sessions, you:

Music allows students to heal themselves, it happens on its own when we are connected to the moment, to our passion, joy, desires and needs.

Is it music therapy?

The goal of the session is to satisfy your desire to play, improvise, learn, and evolve. You can share anything, with an emphasis on experiences that arise from playing here and now. There is significant therapeutic potential in the space we create, and it can happen unconsciously, too. Unlike therapy, we don’t attempt to treat any problems.

About the approach

PTP – Playing Through Playing, is a non-verbal approach that arouses exploration, curiosity, and joy of discovery. PTP is inspired by Dr. George Stern’s approach to treating children through color and mathematics. After over a decade of working with and studying the approach under Yehudit Birin and Psychologist Dr. Yoav Fischer, I developed PTP, adapting similar principles to joint improvisation on the piano.
